Reservoirs

SUPPORTING YOUR WATER STRATEGY

For decades, Ames has worked closely with project owners to construct new reservoirs, renovate existing reservoirs, and remove sediment from reservoirs to increase storage capacity and reduce flood risk.

Serving federal, state, local, and private clients, our capabilities include excavation; dewatering; intake, outlet, and spillway structures; piping; utility relocation; and on-site concrete production. We’ve mobilized for post-emergency restoration, and our crews are accustomed to working in extreme climates, high altitudes, and rough terrain. Ames’ environmental team ensures that all of our projects adhere to the rules and regulations of special-status species and vegetation.
