Synopsis of Work:

Ames Construction lead this design-build project consisting of engineering, procurement, and construction of a shallow well field with a booster pumping station. Construction of the pumping station included installation of a 200-hp vertical-turbine pump and six 400-hp vertical-turbine pumps. The scope of the project also included installation of 27,000 linear feet of 24" diameter piping (carbon steel, ductile iron, and HDPE), 13,500 linear feet of 18" diameter HDPE pipe, 3,000 linear feet of 20" diameter HDPE pipe, and construction of a 3 1/2 acre water storage reservoir. The project also included 2,000 cubic yard of self-performed structural concrete application.
