Synopsis of Work:

Ames was a JV partner on this project in the California Imperial Valley. The project consisted of excavating, dewatering and constructing concrete lining for approximately 10-miles of irrigation canal. Ames work included 5.5-million cubic yards of earthwork, 5.4-million square feet of PVC geo-membrane, 4,400 cubic yards of structural concrete and 850,000 cubic yards of concrete lining. When completed the canal will stop the loss of 90,000 ac-ft of water to Mexico annually.
