Synopsis of Work:

This design-build project included modifications to 12 miles of existing urban freeway in an environmentally sensitive area. Work included construction of 10 bridges, 234,000 square yards of concrete pavement, 822,000 square yards of rubberized asphalt, and 1,100,000 cubic yards of excavation. The project also included 230 feet of precast segmental post-tensioned tub girder spans, 130,000 square feet of retaining walls, and 500,000 square feet of noise walls.
