Synopsis of Work:

This design-build project consisted of the construction of a 14-mile, four lane divided highway. Scope of the work included 7,000,000 cubic yards of excavation, including placement of quarried crushed rock, 32,800 linear feet of 18 to 36-dia. HDPE corrugated piping, 7,700 linear feet of 42 to 54-dia. RC pipe, 32,000 linear feet of edge drain, installation of box culverts, 638,000 square feet of retaining walls, 100,000 cubic yards of structural concrete, 7,500 tons of structural steel, 180,000 cubic yards of asphalt paving, and 922,000 square yards of concrete paving. Project included construction of 25 bridges and required the relocation of over 100 utility sites including sewer, water, telephone and high pressure gas.
